PGP Basics

PGP is the difference between a signed mirror list and a paste. It also means a stolen password is not the whole account. Enable it after you land from a research page — not from an ad.

• Import the market’s public key from a source you already trust, not the first Google/Bing hit.
• Check signed mirror posts when they exist. If the signature fails, keep the last known-good bookmark.
• Turn on PGP 2FA before you treat the session as standing.
